Stingray: Current Events: June 2005 Archives

The Federal Reserve concludes its 2–day meeting Thursday and most economy watchers believe that they will raise the federal funds rate to 3.25%. If the Federal Reserve doesn’t raise rates, look for a BIG drop in the markets on Friday.

No kidding, it’s here, and they’re pretty proud of, judging by their own comments.

I see Howard Dean’s name mentioned a lot, so that’s good. The official blogsite is full of the usual leftist conspiracy theories, plus has the following incredibly intelligent post:

Bush doesn’t get it. There’s an easy way to make sure we don’t “yield the future of the Middle East” to bin Laden: catch him.

Yep, I’m sure that the thought of catching bin Laden has never crossed the minds of Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld or the military leaders. Good thing we have Democrats around to do the heavy thinking for us Red-State bumpkin idiots.
