This church is providing shelter to about 350 Katrina evacuees. (Capacity= 500.) Volunteers are needed beginning to serve food, unload and sort relief items, clean up, and help cover the phones.

 

 Volunteers should just come to the church between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. , Monday through Saturday—no need to call first. Shift times flexible. Minimum agefor volunteers =18.
