Jessica Simpson 'Loves the Heck' Out of Bush

I am still not sure what Jessica Simpson has done to become famous but I see her on every magazine cover these days. I don’t know if she sings, acts, or is just going through her 15 minutes of fame. I do know that she is from the Dallas area and initially promoted her wholesomeness, but I’m not sure whether she’s maintained that with her stardom. To be honest, it would be hard for me to be honest and wholesome, too, so I can’t blame her. Life is tough in the public eye. Anyway, AOL Entertainment News has this to say about Simpson:

Jessica Simpson loves President Bush. She’s just not a big fan of Republican fundraisers. The Hollywood starlet and tabloid cover girl was in Congress on Thursday to lobby for Operation Smile, a nonprofit organization that provides reconstructive surgery to children with facial deformities. Everyone was asking, however, why she turned down an invitation to attend a Republican fundraiser with Washington’s top star, the president.

“We went back and forth, and we could never get the details worked out,” said her father and manager, Joe Simpson. “When it became obvious that it was not just a state dinner, it was more of a fundraising event, that is the wrong purpose of why we are here.”

Joe Simpson was adamant that his family are “big supporters” of the president.

“We are huge fans of him and of his family, his girls,” Simpson said. “Jessica loves the heck out of him.”
