Apostasy In Islam
Rehman Faiz of Countercurrents.org points out that both Christians (though I would not consider them to be real Christians) and Muslims executed people for heresy 400 years ago. However, the extremist elements of Christianity have been “successful in incorporating the newer issues like global peace, human rights, charity and human assistance, economy, polity and sociology.” Unfortunately, Islam has not been so successful in entering the modern era where human rights are respected.
