I remember seeing the second tower fall live on TV. Surreal. I feel that because I saw it, and because I was following coverage on the radio as it was happening, it is something that I experienced in a way, that it’s seared into my mind and consciousness. Also, for some reason, I feel the President was with us all as it happened, that this was a national experience. I think no one can disagree that the President helped us, comforted us, and gave us renewed resolve and hope during this time of unthinkable tragedy. Not to sound blasphemous, but almost as if because God could not be on TV for us, He had Bush speak to us.
I don’t watch any videos on 9/11 because I become very angry. I already get worked up easily. Don’t need more spikes in blood pressure, that’s for sure.
