Woman accidentally sells son-in-law's ashes
A Pennsylvania woman, Sarah Volpe, is distraught after accidentally selling her son-in-law’s ashes that was in an eagle-shaped statuette on the fireplace mantle. Volpe’s daughter, Jane Hanson, had accidentally left the statuette on the mantle with other items that were being sold in her moving sale. According to WFMY News:
The realization dawned on Volpe in the middle of the night. Now she says she’s trying to find a “very sweet” brown-haired woman who bought the ten-inch-high black eagle for $30.
We wish her the best of luck. We also wish sincefely hope that the “very sweet” woman didn’t empty out the ashes into the trash can when she got home.
