More blogroll additions
I would like to welcome two more members to the blogroll. The first is Politics-Line.com. The site is updated every morning at 8:00 a.m. with the latest political commentary from around the country. They feature political opinions from 152 authors every day, from Jimmy Breslin on the left to Pat Buchanan on the right.
Politics-Line.com was featured in PC Magazine’s April, 2005 edition article “Top 100 Sites You Didn’t Know You Couldn’t Live Without.” The site was also featured in The Kim Commando Show “Cool Site of the Day” on July 11, 2005 which was heard on over 450 stations throughout the United States.
I have to apologize to Heather, the editor of the site, because she wrote me way back on January 12th asking if we could trade links. Somehow her e-mail slipped through the cracks and I never got back to her. Please accept my apologies, Heather — I hope that linking you here will bring you many visitors.
The second new link is Ogre’s Politics & Views. The site theme color is green, much as you might expect of an ogre, and he is a prolific and insightful poster. He suggests that the Republican campaign slogan for 2006 should be “Vote for us — we’re not as bad as the other guy. I have to agree with him on that one. Ogre says:
Hey, Republicans might be spending money like crazy and avoiding doing the right thing on various issues, but gee, the Democrats are even worse. Oh, but the Democrats have an even better reason: “Vote for us because we’re not Bush.” Yeah, that really makes me want to go vote.
Ogre’s right — I would like to go out and strangle Republicans. About the only reason they get my vote now is they’re pro-life and they seem to understand the war on terrorism better than the Democrats, who are still living out the Cindy Sheehan fantasy that the 9/11 attacks were somehow our fault and we’ve just over-reacted to things.
Please welcome these new additions and give them a visit — you just might find yourself hooked.
