Stingray's Trackback Tuesdays
Welcome to Stingray's Trackback Tuesday. I will be having this feature every Tuesday, so please plan on making it a weekly stop.
The entire concept is to encourage bloggers to showcase their best recent articles on other blogs which may not otherwise recognize or know about their works. You'll get to know other people's blogsites and other people will get to know your blogsite. It's all about sharing.
- The two goals are:
Show case your articles on each other's blogs to build traffic. People who read this post might find your post interesting and click on it to go to your site. That way, you increase the number of visitors to your site. - Create links between each other's blogs to raise each other's rankings. Don't just link here and go away -- read some of the posts from other people.
Here are the rules:
- Post about anything that’s in good taste. No porn, no spam, no profanity. I'll accept the occasional Anglo-Saxon expletive if it's necessary to your post but don't use crude biological references. If you do, I will remove your trackback. If you continue to do so, I will ban you.
- Your post can be about anything. Stingray is a conservative Christian site but if you want to link me to a post on atheism or liberalism then feel free to do so. Just remember Rule #1.
- Send me a trackback of one or more of your favorite posts.
There are 2 ways to put a trackback on this post.
- The preferred way is to place something at the bottom of your post like (Open trackback to Stingray). Link the word Stingray to the URL for this post. For your convenience, here is the URL:

- The second way is to either use your blogging software to manually send a ping or to use the Wizbang Standalone Trackback Pinger. Here are some quick instructions on using this tool:
- The Trackback Ping URL is http://www.mcculloughsite.net/cgi-bin/mt-tb.cgi/672
- The Your Permalink URL is the link to your individual post, not the URL to this post that I gave above.
- Your Blog Name is self-explanatory.
- Title is the title of your post.
- Excerpt -- well, that's self-explanatory, too.

I second Debbie in her entire statement. I’m really slow at trackback and often never make it through (get a lot of errors - I usually just stick to Basil’s Blog where it usually makes it through). I would have “glued” to your post - but had just sent my son (who I hadn’t seen for two years) back to California. I like your icon guy for this also! I’ll look for this next week if you try us again we’ll start finding you at the right time. Tuesday seems like a great choice of days also. Thanks for the idea.
