John Bolton resigned today as UN Ambassador, effective the day his resource appointment ends. Bolton and Bush knew that Bolton did not have the votes to make his appointment to the UN ermanent.
Bolton is Jewish — a fact most people do not know — and if the Republicans had any backbone, they would have turned this into an issue.
Bolton was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Sweden’s former deputy prime minister Per Ahlmark for his repeated warning of Iran’s nuclear weapons program.
Bolton tells it like it is and that irritates Democrats, who often want the United States to be subservient to the will of the United Nations. Considering the Oil for Food scandal, sex scandals, and other UN scandals, one has to wonder why the Democrats are such strong supporters of the UN. The only possible answer is that the UN promotes one-world socialism and a strong UN equals a weak United States.
