Thanks to top-notch bloggers like Little Green Footballs and the mainstream media, everybody pretty well knows the recent comments and writings of Texas A&M Professor Emeritus Morgan Reynolds. He believes that the fall of the twin towers on were the result of an inside controlled demolition job by the Bush administration and that planes didn’t actually hit the towers.

His ideas are ridiculous, of course, but I contacted some very good friends who have known Professor Reynolds for years. They were shocked at his remarks and have always considered him to be an intelligent, stable man.

So what’s the poop on Reynolds? I don’t know but I’m prepared to let it slide as a bout of irrationality. Let’s be charitable and remember him for his earlier contributions, not his present issues.
