I wrote this back in February but, for some reason, never posted it. Regardless, it is still relevant today. In most Islamic countries, children are taught to hate Jews as soon as they talk. Even their school textbooks teach hatred.
Teaching hatred of others
The sick Hamas Palestinian children’s show, Tomorrow’s Pioneers, has a new character, Assud the Rabbit, who promises to “get rid of the Jews” and “eat them up” in order to liberate Palestine.
The first character, a Mickey Mouse look-alike, was martyred by an Israeli interrogator. From Palestinian Media Watch:
… beloved Farfur, the Mickey Mouse look-alike, was beaten to death by an Israeli interrogator. [Click to view video on YouTube or PMW website or to see original bulletin.] In an unusual propaganda technique that could only be effective with young children, it is this beating “death” that was created on their own TV that is now being used as a reason to see Jews as murderers. In an earlier program a child called in and insisted the Jews were dogs because they killed Farfur.
…
Also previously on the children’s program, a three year old caller went on air saying the Jews killed Farfur. The hostess of the show, Saraa’, replied: “That’s right… The Jews are criminals and enemies, we must expel them from our land.” [Al-Aqsa TV, June 27, 2007]
..
In this last episode, the squeaky-voiced Farfur receives land documents from his grandfather. The episode ends when an Israeli investigator tries to force Farfur to give up the key and the papers that his grandfather had given him. When Farfur refuses, the Israeli continues his brutal attack and beats Farfur to death.
Although Farfur’s death is not shown to the child viewers, the hostess of the show, Saraa’, sadly announces his death to the children:
“Yes, our children friends, we lost our dearest friend, Farfur. Farfur turned to a Martyr while protecting his land. He turned into a Martyr at the hands of the criminals, and murderers, the murderers of the innocent children.”
PMW reported the existence of the Mickey Mouse knockoff and his hateful messages in May, prompting worldwide outrage. The New York Daily News dubbed the character “Terror Mouse,” while Walt Disney’s daughter Diane described it as “pure evil.”
Nahoul the bee took up the battle where his cousin, Farfur the mouse, left off. Unfortunately, Nahoul died of an illness — because his parents couldn’t get him to Egypt for an operation — and his brother, Assud the Rabbit, continues the fight. Don’t ask me how a bee can have human parents and a rabbit brother. It’s a cartoon.

How Christians need to respond
So what is the proper of Christians? Love.
It is easy to get angry and descend into hatred of Muslims because of how many of them treat non-Muslims. However, we are taught to love our enemies. There are many followers of Islam who do not hate the Jews. My Muslim friends came to the United States to escape the endless hatred and violence.
Jesus said that we should love our enemies. Wherever God’s love abounds, love to our neighbors abounds also. The two are inseparable. When God reigns within us, love reigns within our lives. We do not have to preach to show our love — our actions speak louder than our words.
When you witness to someone with a background of hatred, tell them about God’s love. Tell them how Jesus forgave those who persecuted him. Tell them that once we love God, then love of others and love of ourselves will fall properly into line.
