Apple today introduced its new line of iPods, including an iPod nano with a video screen that stores content on flash memory chips instead of a hard drive. CEO Steve Jobs also said that Apple's iTunes Web music store will begin selling content over wireless connections.
Apple is also cutting the price of their 8GB iPhone from $599 to $399

The new iPod touch features a multi-touch user interface similar to the iPhone. The interface allows the built-in browser to access Apple's new iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store. Users can wirelessly browse, search, and purchase songs or albums. The 8GB model sells for $299 while the 16GB model sells for $399. Both phones are only 8mm thick.
Apple also announced an exclusive agreement with Starbucks that allows lucky owners to access the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store for free in participating locations. When you enter the Starbucks, the iPod Touch recognizes the free wireless connection and connects you to the music store. Users will be able to download music straight to their iPod rather than through their computers.

The new iPod Nano brings video to the small screen. The 2-inch, QVGA, 320 by 240 display is 65% brighter than previous models and supports 204 pixels per inch. The 4GB nano sells for $199 while the 8GB nano sells for $199. The battery life has been extended, with 24-hour playback for audio and 5 hours for video.
