The vanity of useless internet arguments

Another XKCD comic that hits me right between the eyes. I had given up the practice of correcting people on the internet several years ago but got drawn into it again for about 2 weeks last month. I was absolutely right but it did me no good and dragged me down to the level of my detractors.

Heavenly Father, it’s not up to me to change the entire world. I can only do the things that you have planned for me to do. Please help me to keep from getting drawn into useless, vain arguments and keep me obedient to your word. In Christ’s name I pray. Amen.
