Bush administration repeatedly tried to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

We inherited our financial problems from the Bush administration. It was greed and capitalism run amok that caused the economic crisis. Bush never listened warnings about the subprime mortgage problems. The Republicans only care about rich people.

Right?

Wrong.

The mainstream media is following the wishes of Obama and the Democratic Party and is rewriting history. The fact is that the Bush administration, beginning in 2001, tried a number of times to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which were heavily regulated by the government. Further, lawsuits by groups such as ACORN forced banks to make loans to people who could not repay the loans.
