"Will we choose liberty or will we choose tyranny?"
This is also a good time to plug Mark Levin's book: Liberty and Tyranny. These are perilous times and we Americans are at a fork in the road. Which fork will we take: Liberty or tyranny?
The liberals are leading us down a path of tyranny. We still hear the constant complaint from liberals that President Bush rushed us into war with Iraq. Yet the time span from President Bush's first mention of the possibility to the date we declared war was 14-1/2 months.
How much time did the Democrats allow debate on the Cap and Trade bill? Five hours. And the bill had not even been finalized when the vote came! Not one member of the House had the opportunity to review the bill because it was in a constant state of flux.
The liberals claim that 14-1/2 months was a rush to war. They also claim that five hours of debate was plenty of time for debate on a bill that did not even exist and, as it stands, is the greatest tax increase and greatest destroyer of jobs in the history of our country.
"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. Matthew 7:13 (ESV)
