Uncle Bob: Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe
Okay, I was horsing around on the internet while writing Mugabe Razes a Mosque. I noted with interest that the Associated Press (may 10,000 camels poop on their heads) recently issued a release entitled “Zimbabwe denies Mugabe rumours.” The AP devoted the first 5 paragraphs to concerns about Mugabe’s health then ended with a paltry 2 paragraphs mentioning mass arrests and government-sanctioned destruction that have left an estimated 200,000 people homeless.
