BROOKLYN (CBS) A Brooklyn rabbi is speaking out after a scary encounter with a man accused of snatching his yarmulke off his head.

Rabbi Uria Ohana’s crash course on street justice — and the justice — system continues.

“I got a call from the district attorney,” Ohana said. “I’m going to testify in front of the grand jury.”

The case is against 18-year old Ali Hussein, accused of snatching Ohana’s yarmulke last week inside a park slope subway station. It was an offense Ohana says he couldn’t let pass.

“I decided to chase him to get my yarmulke back,” Ohana said.

Rabbi Ohana says as he ran back down the station’s stairs two of Hussein’s friends got up from this bench and chased him out of the station.

“They were screaming ‘Allah Akhbar (God is great) and punching my face,” Ohana said.

But Ohana says things came to a head when Hussein was hit by a car as he ran out onto Fourth Avenue. EMS officials confirm responding to a call at that time and location for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

Yeah? Well why didn't Obama decry what his pastor has been saying for years. Here's an assemblage of Obama statements from this AP story.

If all I knew were those statements I saw on television, I would be shocked," Obama said.

Well, yeah. So why are you surprised that we're shocked?

Obama suggested that more and more is being made of racial divisions as his contest with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton heats up.

"I noticed over the last several weeks that the forces of division have started to raise their ugly heads again. And I'm not here to cast blame or point fingers because everybody, you know, senses that there's been this shift," Obama said.

There's been a shift, Obama, because the mainstream media actually started looking at your background instead of being your biggest cheerleaders. And the race card has been played, as usual, by Democrats.

"It reminds me: We've got a tragic history when it comes to race in this country. We've got a lot of pent-up anger and bitterness and misunderstanding. ... This country wants to move beyond these kinds of things."

I agree with the tragic history of race in this country. I regret the part that my ancestors played. Racism -- at least white racism -- has pretty much been eliminated in this country over the past 40 years. Obama, the fact that you're so popular bears the truth of statement. However, why does your pastor continue to live in the past. And why have you associated with him for more than 20 years? If I attended a church pastored by David Duke and were running for president, don't you think that you would have a few questions? 

The Illinois senator's comments came a day after he denounced statements in videos appearing on television and on the Internet of sermons by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, pastor of the Chicago church Obama joined nearly 20 years ago.

So why the hell haven't you been denouncing his statement for the past 20 years? Why denounce your mentor now that you're running for president? If I visited a church that preached about the country being run by Rich White Joooooz (we can always blame the Jooooz, can't we?), that would be my mistake and I would never go back. But if I went to a church that blamed all of my problems on the Rich White Jooooz for 20 years, that would say something about me, wouldn't it?

"Most recently, you heard some statements from my former pastor that were incendiary and that I completely reject, although I knew him and know him as somebody in my church who talked to me about Jesus and family and friendships."

Obama said that pointing out racial differences only makes it harder to "deliver on the big issues we face in this country," which he said include health care, the slumping economy, terrorism and caring better for veterans

Okay, so it's time to change the subject. And if pointing out racial differences makes it harder to address the real issues, then why in God's name have you been attending a church for 20 years that does little else but point out racial differences?

Not only did your church present Farrakhan with a Lifetime Achievement Award, but your your pastor once went to Libya with Farrakhan. Here's a little video about the man your church endorses:

Here's an interview with Louis Farrakhan declaring his support for Obama and continually denouncing "international bankers" who control the world. For those of you who don't know, "international bankers" has long been a code phrase for Jews.

Oregon is one of the most beautiful places that I have visited. I have dear friends who live there. I would love to have a summer home there.

Though the sparsely populated areas of the state tend to be conservative, the Portland area is rabidly liberal. After a visit there last summer, my wife and I decided that the two hardest things to find in Oregon are an American flag and a church.

One would think that all would be love and peace in the land of tolerant, kind, liberalism. However, that's not true at all. On March 4th, a socialist neo-Nazi group launched balloons carrying the Nazi flag. From the Associated Press:

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Flags bearing the infamous Nazi swastika symbol were found attached to red balloons seen floating over neighborhoods in Tigard in the past couple of days.

A neo-Nazi group is claiming responsibility. A group calling itself the American National Socialist Workers Party sent a Portland television station an e-mail saying it sent the balloons flying over the suburb.

Anti-semitic leaflets were also found scattered in a Tigard store's parking lot.

Barack Obama has a senior foreign policy advisor on his campaign who has suggested that the United should send troops to Israel and enforce peace on all sides. That means killing Israelis if they dare fight back against Palestinian attacks. Someday "they" may come for the Jews in the United States. If they do, they will have to walk over the bodies of a lot of dead Christians first.

Tel Aviv - Despite the Israeli airline’s tight security, unknown vandals spray-painted anti-Semitic slogans inside the cargo bay of an El-Al passenger plane, probably as it was docked in Milan, an Israeli newspaper reported Tuesday. The slogans, in Arabic, included “Death to the Jews,” the Yediot Ahronot daily said.

El-Al staff members discovered them as they were loading luggage onto the plane at Milan’s Malpensa Airport before it was heading back to Tel Aviv.

The perpetrator spray-painted the graffiti in the plane’s cargo bay earlier, probably shortly after it landed in Milan and as luggage was being unloaded.

If you ever wonder whether the Bible is true, all you have to do is to look at the persecution of Jews and Christians in today’s world. The Bible predicted this very thing.

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” (Zechariah 12:2-3).

With the major exception of the United States, most of the world is strongly anti-Israel. As for the mention of drunkennes, it’s true that those who hate the Jews act and talk as if they’re drunk. None of their vitriol makes sense. Arabs who live in Israel have full voting and citizenship rights in Israel. There are 3 Arab political parties represented in the Knesset. Yet how are Jews and Christians treated in the surrounding nations? Most have had their property confiscated and have been driven out. Those who remain are heavily persecuted.

Pray for Israel and the Jewish people. 

Another day, another desecration of Jewish graves. Anti-semitism in Europe has risen to levels not seen since before World War II. Anti-semitism has also risen in America on the left. But usually it's more subtle than in Europe. They call anti-Zionism or anti-Israeli occupation. Never mind that Arabs live better in Israel than in any other Middle East country.

Nearly 60 gravestones at a Jewish cemetery near Norridge have been desecrated with spray-painted, anti-Semitic graffiti and slurs, Cook County Sheriff's police said today.

The vandalism, which left an estimated $100,000 damage, occurred last weekend in a portion of Westlawn Cemetery, on Montrose between Chicago's Northwest Side and Norridge, officials said.

At least 57 stone grave markers were damaged with blue spray-paint, police said. No one has been charged with the vandalism, which Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart described as a hate crime.

The tombstones were desecrated with symbols that included swastikas, nooses and gallows. Slogans that included "Aryan Power,” "skinhead” and "juden raus” — German for "Jews out” were painted on other grave monuments.

Look at the pictures and weep. What is happening in our country?

For those of you who are Christians, what should be our response? I was raised as an evangelical and was taught from early childhood that Jews were and still are God's chosen people. God told the Jews in Genesis 12:3: "I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." 

Check out this list of Jewish Nobel Prize winners. It's no surprise to many of you, but the world has been tremendously blessed by the Jewish people. The proper Christian response is to bless the Jews in in turn. That doesn't mean dogging them to become Christians. It means action. Actively love the Jewish people. Make Jewish friends and take a real interest in everything going on in their lives. Donate money to Jewish organizations and synagogues. If you have a local Holocaust Museum, like we do in Dallas, visit it, buy their books and tapes, and give of your money and even your time. Take your teenage children to Holocaust museums and show them the horror of what happened a mere 60 years ago. If your town has a Jewish retirement center or home for the aged, go visit them.

Don't do these things to get a blessing from God; love the Jewish people because Jesus commanded us to love everyone, regardless of their race, religion, or background.

In short, love the Jewish people. Fight anti-Semitism with every fiber of your being. The Holocaust must never happen again. 

On the night of October 3rd, someone burned down a sukkah (a temporary structure to remind the Jews of living in the desert while being led by Moses) at the Hillel (Jewish Center) at San Jose State University. Sukkah are used to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, known as Sukkot in Hebrew.

A student arrived Wednesday morning and found the sukkah — made of a metal frame and nylon walls — melted, said Sue Maltiel, executive director of Hillel of Silicon Valley.

Police and Hillel officials believe the fire was deliberately set but was not a hate crime. There were no notes or messages indicating anything other than vandalism, said Sgt. Mike Santos with university police, noting that the campus is downtown and vagrants often sleep on Hillel’s patio.

So the fire was deliberately set but it was not a hate crime? Yeah, right.

At least the University of California at Davis had the guts to call the defacing of a sukkah on its campus a hate crime.

Student Programs and Activities Center representatives reported a hate crime yesterday, as graffiti was found defacing a small hut on the Quad being used for a Jewish holiday.

The booth, called a Sukkot or Sukkos, was set up on the east Quad as part of a weeklong celebration of one of three Jewish holidays known collectively as Shalosh Regalim.

The graffiti was discovered by SPAC and then reported to several organizations on campus, including the UC Davis Police Department and Hillel. Mike Amerikaner, program director of Hillel, said that the vandalism is unrelated to the holiday, though it made reference to Israel.

“This is a religious structure that has nothing to do with Israel,” he said.

Amerikaner went on to add that this case of vandalism is indicative of a larger problem on campus.

“This is not something that’s new. We’ve been dealing with anti-Semitism on campus for awhile now,” he said.

Anti-Semitism is spreading across the globe and, as usual, is conducted by the political left (Hitler has somehow been morphed into a right-winger, but he was head of the National Socialist German Workers Party. I’m not going to give any links because I don’t want these sites to receive any hits, but any cursory glance at left-wing blogsites will show you anti-Semitism of the grossest sort. It’s usually described as anti-Zionism to give it a politically correct name but is definitely anti-Jewish.

When the next Middle East war starts, it will be a big surprise to most Americans. Why? Because they rely on the mainstream media, of course. The mainstream media is finally beginning to report on the escalating tensions between Israel and Syria, but from what I heard on the news this morning, they’re blaming Israel because Israel attacked an “alleged” nuclear installation in Syria without provocation.

Now the Syrians don’t have nukes. We all know that, right? Saddam didn’t have any weapons of mass destruction either, even though we transported nearly 2 tons of low-enriched uranium and approximately 1,000 radioactive items from Iraq’s Tuwaitha site some 12 miles south of Baghdad. Note how USA Today twists the story to make it look like the US did something wrong by transporting the radioactive material out of Iraq without the United Nations’ permission. Hey, USA Today, we don’t need permission from the United Nations. Besides, it was the United Nations that was up to its eyeballs in the food-for-oil scandal. This scandal lined the pockets of both Saddam and United Nations officials Kofi Annan with money and prevented the Iraqis from getting desperately-needed food. We cannot trust the United Nations.

Well, of course you didn’t hear anything about it, you doofuses — the story was barely covered in the United States mainstream media because it would make that horrible moron Bush look good and those loving, caring people at the United Nations look bad. I hate to sound mean, but if you’re depending on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, NPR, and pretty much any newspaper in the United States, you have no idea of what’s going on. That’s why so many people are turning to blogs, foreign news sources, and independent news services to find out what’s going on in the world. To be fair, ABC did report a couple of times on the food-for-oil scandal, but only after the story had been all over the internet for more than a year.

I commonly read that it Bush’s idea to institute regime change in Iraq. However, it was Clinton’s idea, and Clinton signed it into law in 1998. See the Who Said It Game — Iraq Style. And if you still believe that Iraq never had any contact with Osama or other terrorists and that they never had any Weapons of Mass Destruction programs, read some of the translated documents captured by the US military. What? You’ve never heard about these documents? I close my case on the mainstream media. If you’re depending on them to get your news, then you most emphatically do not know what is going on in the world.

Dallas Morning News reporter Wayne Slater published a nutjob book on how the evil Karl Rove controlled the idiot George W. Bush yet was allowed to continue to report “objectively” on Bush and Rove, including this whackjob of a story. Hey, Dallas Morning News, would you hire Rush Limbaugh as a reporter assigned to cover the Democrat party? Of course not. Then why did you let a professional Bush-hater and conspiracy theorist to report on Bush? There’s a reason why the Dallas Morning News’ readership is in a nosedive. Their daily circulation dropped 14.3% over a recent 6-month period. More and more people people are getting smart enough not to believe a thing that the mainstream media broadcasts or prints.

Okay, the rant’s over, it’s time to get back to the story. From the Jerusalem Post:

Six hundred Iranian Shihab-3 missiles are pointed at targets throughout Israel, and will be launched if either Iran or Syria are attacked, an Iranian website affiliated with the regime reported on Monday.

“Iran will shoot at Israel 600 missiles if it is attacked,” the Iranian news website, Assar Iran, reported. “600 missiles will only be the first reaction.”

According to the report, dozens of locations throughout Iraq, which are being used by the US Army, have also been targeted.

The Shihab missile has a range of 1,300 km, and can reach anywhere in Israel.

This is serious stuff. As I’ve noted earlier, Syria has already stated that it plans to respond to Israel’s attack on its nuclear facility, and if Syria attack Israel, Israel will respond. This can escalate into a nuclear war within a matter of hours. This time tomorrow Damascus may be a big radioactive hole in the ground, and many of you will be wondering why.

Don’t worry though. The mainstream media, the liberals, and the United Nations will blame the Jews for starting the war. You can count on that.

A Kassam rocket launched from Gaza smashed into an Israeli army base, wounding at least 69 Israeli soldiers. The rocket was launched from Beit Hanoun in Northern Gaza and struck the Zikim Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) training base near Kibbutz Zikkim in the western Negev desert at around 1:30 am. From AFP:

Israel issued a warning to Gaza militants on Tuesday after a rocket smashed into an army base, wounding dozens of sleeping conscripts and heightening pressure on the government to hit the Hamas-run territory.

At least 69 soldiers sleeping in tents were wounded in when the homemade rocket crashed in the dead of night into the Zikim base in southern Israel not far from the border with Gaza, an army spokesman and medics said.

It was the bloodiest Palestinian rocket strike from Gaza in months and came ahead of the start of the Jewish New Year, increasing the pressure on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s cabinet to take action to stop the fire.

The premier met senior ministers and military chiefs to decide on a response to the attack which Hamas — a group sworn to Israel’s destruction — said was an act of “legitimate resistance.”

“Those who carry out these types of attacks, as well as those who support them should know that they are not safe,” Israeli government spokeswoman Miri Eisin told AFP.

No formal announcement was made after the meeting, but Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni told reporters that “we have not only military tools that we can use in the face of what’s happening in Gaza.”

It appeared to be an allusion to earlier calls by ministers for Israel to cut electricity, fuel and water supplies into Gaza, measures that Olmert had rejected up to now.

Many of the wounded troops were young conscripts due to complete their basic training on Tuesday. The vast majority of the troops received only light injuries, one was wounded critically and four seriously, the army said.

 “The time may be approaching where it will necessary to launch a major ground operation to stop the rocket fire,” Defence Minister Ehud Barak warned recently.

Israel has been unable to stamp out the rocket fire, despite launching regular strikes and incursions into the crowded and impoverished territory since it withdrew settlers and soldiers in 2005 after a 38-year occupation.

Israel needs to get rid of Prime Minister Olmert immediately. His waffling and his refusal to down terrorists has only empowered Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran. He is willing to give away huge portions of Israel, including much of Jerusalem, for a peace that he will never get. His enemies do not want peace — they want Israel to be annihilated.

 Israel’s enemies are baiting Israeli to strike back. There are two reasons for this:

1. A strike by Israel into Gaza, the West Bank, or Hezbollah-controlled southern Lebanon would give Syria and possibly Iran an excuse to declare all-out war on Israel.
2. A major strike by Israel or even cutting off electricity, fuel, and water supplies to its enemies in Gaza would give the mainstream media and countries hostile to Israel (just about every country except the United States) to condemn Israel’s actions as excessive. The UN would pass anti-Israel resolutions and possibly seek economic embargos on Israel. Bush would never go for that, of course, but you can bet that if a Democrat wins in 2008, they will join with the UN.

Students and staff at the ORT Aleph Jewish High School in Ukraine returned this week to discover their school had been the target of an anti-semitic attack.

Vandals sprayed graffiti on its walls saying “Jews, get out” and “Death to Jews”.

Ivor Levene OBE, executive Director of British ORT said: “I am appalled at this attack on the ORT Aleph school and the indignities that the children had to suffer. British ORT is proud to continue to support the Science and Technology Centre which we first helped to establish. I hope that the authorities will do more to prevent such acts in the future.”

Nigel Layton, Chairman of World Jewish Relief, said: “We are appalled at the offensive incident that has taken place at the ORT supported school in Zaparozhye, Ukraine in the last few days.”

Germany’s Jewish community has condemned an attack on a rabbi in Frankfurt last week.

The 42-year old minister was stabbed in Frankfurt on Friday in what police are describing as a spontaneous attack.

The attacker fled after stabbing him in the stomach. The rabbi was taken to hospital where he is in a stable condition.

It comes after the community expressed fear of increasing attacks on minorities in East Germany.

Charlotte Knobloch, President of the Central Council of German Jews, said: “Given the increasing acts of violence against minorities here in Germany, you have to ask yourself if the discussion about ‘no-go areas’ shouldn’t apply beyond the eastern parts of Germany to other areas.”

Anti-semitism is on the rise throughout the world. The United States and Israel are the only countries where Jews can live safely — and Israel is iffy because of continued attacks by its surrounding enemies.

Once again:  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Christians and Jews are commanded to do this. If you happen to be Buddhist, atheist, Hindu, or anything else, please pray for or send good thoughts towards Israel and the Jewish people.

Two Iranian newspapers, Kehyan and Resalat, are imploring Muslims around the world to unite and prepare for a "great war" to destroy Israel. The papers both claimed that Hezbollah "destroyed at least half of Israel" in the recent war so one has to take these editorials with a grain or two of salt. According to ynetnews.com:

“The great war is ahead of us, (and will break out) perhaps tomorrow, or in another few days, or in a few months, or even in a few years... Israel must collapse,” the newspaper said.

It added: “For the first time in the 60 years of its disgraceful life, the Zionist regime — the West's beloved in the Middle East — tasted the taste of defeat, and the citizens of this regime trembled at the menace of Hizbullah's missiles... The nation of Muslims must prepare for the great war, so as to completely wipe out the Zionist regime, and remove this cancerous growth. Like the Imam (Ayatollah) Khomeini said: ‘Israel must collapse.’”

Bluffing? Perhaps, but perhaps not. We already know that Iran provided much of the missiles targeted against Israel in the recent war. I would argue that the Hezbollah offensive was a war by proxy, propagated by Iran and Syria just to see how Israel would respond and to see how much damage they could do. The answer is that the crazies (with a little Iranian oversight) were able to do a great deal of damage and, worse, collaborate with the mainstream media to convince world opinion that Israel was at fault and “over-responded.”

Hezbollah won the war on the world opinion front and the world turned even more anti-Israel and anti-Jewish. Iran could attack Israel with impunity

The Democrats are already talking about defunding the war and giving the President only enough money to bring home the troops over a 4 – 6 month period. That will wipe out any US forces in the area that could defend Israel. Iran reported yesterday that it was almost finished with its nuclear program. I, for one, believe that they already have enough enriched uranium to make several nuclear bombs and we know that they have the capability to deliver the bombs to Israel.

The world could be a messy place beginning in a year or so.

A gunman opened fire at the Jewish Federation in downtown Seattle today, killing 1 and injuring 5 others. From the Seattle Post-Intelligencer:

Six people were shot - one fatally - this afternoon at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle by a man who told a witness he was upset about “what was going on in Israel.”

Police spokesman Rich Pruitt said there was one shooter, who was apprehended without incident outside the Jewish Federation building at the corner of Third Avenue and Virginia Street.

“We believe it’s a lone individual acting out his antagonism,” said David Gomez, who heads the FBI’s counterterrorism efforts in Seattle.

Authorities did not release any details about the gunman and would not discuss possible motives.

“There’s nothing to indicate that it’s terrorism related,” Gomez said. “But we’re monitoring the entire situation.”

Nothing to indicate that the incident was terrorism-related? Refusing to discuss possible motives, as if there might have been a whole list of motives, or no motive at all?

A Pakistani gunman goes to the Jewish Federation Center, announces he’s angry at Israel, and shoots 6 people, one of them fatally. Nope, there’s absolutely nothing about the scenario that appears to be related to terrorism. I can’t figure out a motive either. Happens all the time, with Chinese grandmothers shooting up Lutheran potluck suppers.

Stupid FBI and stupid mainstream media.

I knew that Spain’s new Prime Minister, Jose Luis Zapatero, was an anti-Israel socialist, but I didn’t know that the situation in Spain had deteriorated this far. It seems that the only safe place to be a Jew these days is in the United States or Israel. From ynetnews.com:

The recent clashes with Hizbullah, however, have promoted the longest and hardest diatribes against Israel, forcing Zapatero to loose a cover for what it was long known in Spanish politics: His hate towards Israel, Jews and Zionism.

 

 In the third day of such rants, before a gathering of the Socialist Youth Movement and a day before a demonstration against Israel, Zapatero showed at last his true colours: At the closing of the meeting he let the teenagers take pictures of him wearing a Palestinian kaffiyah.

The commotion caused in the Spanish Jewish community seems to be huge, especially taking in count that after some months of anxiety after his election, some Jews were feeling somewhat safe in Spain. Not anymore.  

Some people were trying to alert the international community about what was boiling in Spain, but neither the OSCE nor the EUMC ever listened, preferring contacts with anti-Israeli NGOs based on the idea that anti-Semitism has to do with Arabs. Now the Spanish Jews are to pay the price for the international community’s inaction, once more.

If the United States does not want to see the American embassy in Madrid full of Jews fleeing Spain, President Bush will do well in isolating Spain in the international arena while pressing, and asking European members to press, the new Socialist government of Spain.

A delegation of Israeli firefighters and a rescue team who were in Barcelona to compete in the Policemen’s Olympics, was attacked in July 2003 by drunken skinheads, who cursed them and shouted antisemitic slogans.

There was an increase in antisemitic activities after 11 March. A monument commemorating the Holocaust in Barcelona was desecrated twice, in May and June 2004. In June 2004 a soccer game took place in Madrid, with both teams – Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid – offering the revenues to the victims and families of March 11. Some spectators wearing swastikas and other Nazi emblems unfurled a long banner reading “Jews, bastards.” Nobody intervened, despite Spain’s anti-racist laws. This trend continued into the second half of 2004.

As I’ve said before, Ahmadinejad is a wacko who needs to be taken out before he plunges the world into nuclear war. Look closely at the picture of Ahmadinejad giving a speech at the World without Zionism conference. America has fallen from the earth and is broken. Israel is plunging downwards. The good news is that I expect Ahmadinejad to be escorted to Allah in the next year, courtesy of Israel or the United States, or both (we can’t count on the UN). From the Khaleej Times:

JAKARTA - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that Israel “one day will vanish” as he ramped up his anti-Western rhetoric in a speech to university students in Jakarta. “This regime one day will vanish,” the hardline leader said, complaining that when elections were held in the Palestinian territories “and supported by its people, liberalism did not want to recognise it.”

The Iranian president declared last October that the Jewish state should be “wiped off the map”. In April he said that Israel ”cannot survive” and that migrants to the Jewish state should go back to where they came from.

Israel’s Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres warned Tuesday that Iran risked its own destruction if it tried to wipe out the Jewish state. Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni has said the world should not take Ahmadinejad’s threats lightly.

Ahmadinejad also wants to wipe out the United States. From The Middle East Media Research Institute:

In advance of Iran’s Jerusalem Day, which was established by Ayatollah Khomeini and is marked annually on the fourth Friday of the month of Ramadan, the “World without Zionism” conference was held in Tehran.

“Is it possible for us to witness a world without America and Zionism? But you had best know that this slogan and this goal are attainable, and surely can be achieved…’”

At the conference, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke to the representatives of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, members of the Society for the Defense of the Palestinian Nation, and members of the Islamic Students Union, and an audience of hundreds of students.

In his speech, he described his vision of an age-old confrontation between the world of Islam and the “World of Arrogance,” i.e. the West; he portrayed Israel and Zionism as the spearhead of the West against the Islamic nation; and he emphasized the need to eliminate Israel – which, he claimed, was a goal that was attainable.

In his speech, Ahmadinejad proclaimed:

The issue of this [World without Zionism] conference is very valuable. In this very grave war, many people are trying to scatter grains of desperation and hopelessness regarding the struggle between the Islamic world and the front of the infidels …

Is it possible for us to witness a world without America and Zionism? But you had best know that this slogan and this goal are attainable, and surely can be achieved…
